MATCH
On Match Day, held the third Friday of March annually, fourth-year medical students around the country and at The Penn State College of Medicine find out at 12 noon where they have matched to residency. Students celebrate their accomplishment surrounded by their classmates, friends, family, and faculty. This event is a highlight for many medical students as they continue their journey to becoming doctors.
Commencement
The Penn State College of Medicine Commencement Ceremony is the capstone event that recognizes students in the medical, physician assistant and graduate programs. Each year, our faculty and faculty leadership from Penn State and The Penn State College of Medicine are joined by an invited keynote speaker. On the eve and day leading up to the Commencement, award ceremonies, military graduate promotion and hooding ceremonies are held for each respective program.
